Where Can I Get Free Wi-Fi in Las Vegas?
It is difficult to separate business from pleasure, but that isn’t the case when you’re a freelancer who loves to travel. I enjoy the freedom to work from anywhere I want, so carrying my laptop everywhere is a small price to pay. It’s a great time to work remotely because you can access the internet from anywhere!
If you’re also someone who’s usually out and about, being on the lookout for free public Wi-Fi hotspots is probably a habit of yours by now. I used to be like that too until I became a customer of the best internet service provider, i.e. Cox; now, I can access millions of free Wi-Fi hotspots nationwide!
With Cox Las Vegas, I don’t have to connect with any random public network to get work done while I’m in the city. If you’re a regular visitor of the city that never sleeps, consider signing up with Cox and enjoy reliable internet services on the go.
Before I signed up with Cox, I had to make do with any Wi-Fi hotspot available in the area. Most hotels provide free internet to their guests, but you’re disconnected as soon as you step outside. I discovered a handful of great places where you can enjoy decent Wi-Fi for free as a customer – so let’s dive right in:
1. Chinatown Plaza
My absolute favorite place to hang out while I’m in Vegas is the aesthetically rich and vibrant Chinatown Plaza. It has some of the best restaurants and dine-in spots for Pan-Asian, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, and Fusion foods. You will also find a few adorable souvenir shops, bakeries, and places to buy groceries.
It’s wonderful that you can avail free Wi-Fi while entertaining yourself with everything this place has to offer. My favorite spot to treat myself to something sweet while I work on an online project is the Diamond Bakery in Chinatown Plaza. It has a marvelous assortment of pastries and baked goods to pair with a cup of coffee or tea.
2. Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf
Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf has 10+ branches across the city, so if you see one of them nearby, walk in for a caffeine fix and free Wi-Fi. My favored outlet is the one located at Town Square Las Vegas because I like the unimposing interior and friendly staff.
The place is not too busy at any time of the day, so I can always find a quiet corner to sip on a drink while I type away on my laptop. I usually order one of their iced lattes that cost six to seven bucks on average. They also have an outdoor sitting space, which is great for days when the weather is pleasant.
3. Atomic Liquors
Atomic Liquor is one of the oldest bars in Vegas; business has been booming since 1954. If you’re a fan of vintage décor and craft beers, you’re gonna love it here. They serve some of the best cocktails in town, and free Wi-Fi is the cherry on top. Not to mention, the service is excellent and the menu is reasonably priced.
As a freelance writer, I consider this a promising site for people watching and finding inspiration. I often recommend this place to friends who enjoy quality liquor and venting to the bartender. This place has some historic value and people often come here for mini celebrations.
4. Big Bus Tours
If you’re in Vegas to explore the famous sites and see all the illustrious landmarks, you must sign up for a Big Bus tour. You can view the entire city from the air-conditioned interior, or enjoy a fabulous view from the open-air top of the bus for a fair price (free Wi-Fi included!).
Booking a ride on this bus to see everything there is to see while sharing it on your socials in real time is a delightful experience. Taking this tour is a must for every travel blogger planning to visit Las Vegas for the first time. You get to see all the tourist attractions, learn about the city’s history, and click photos at the most picturesque venues.
5. Terrace Pointe Café
Terrace Pointe Café at Wynn Las Vegas is the place to be if your trip to Vegas is all about opulence and indulgence. Anyone who adores fancy breakfasts, lunches, and brunches is bound to have the time of their life around here. You can go all out with the free Wi-Fi while you down a few swanky mimosas and maybe order a vegan dessert.
The indoor dining area is bright and beautiful with its fine furnishings, and the patio is equipped with a magnificent view of sparkling blue water and manicured gardens. This café serves good waffles and French toast – ten on ten for taste and presentation. To conclude, it’s an excellent option to enjoy the finer things in life and catch up on work simultaneously.
Get, Set, Connect- Now!
Finding free public Wi-Fi isn’t too hard these days, but it gets easy if you know where to look and who to ask. While connecting to a hotspot for free at a public place is convenient, it’s not quite secure. Using cellular data or connecting to a protected Wi-Fi hotspot belonging to your internet provider is safer.
